A beloved revival from our Midsummer Dreams Spring–Summer '23 capsule, the Eleanor Dress returns with its signature full-length sleeves, empire waist, and a contrast pink tie-up lace front. Light, airy, and effortlessly romantic, it’s made for barefoot walks through wildflowers and gatherings that linger into twilight. 

This piece is made from 100% cotton and printed using the centuries-old hand block printing technique—one of India’s most enduring textile arts. Hand block printing involves skilled artisans carving intricate designs onto wooden blocks, dipping them in natural or low-impact dyes, and stamping the fabric by hand, one repeat at a time. Each press of the block is a quiet act of precision, patience, and artistry, often requiring years of experience to perfect.
This method is practiced in artisan communities across Rajasthan and other parts of India, where the craft is passed down through generations. The slight variations in print and tone are not flaws, but rather marks of the human hand. Each piece carries the rhythm and soul of its maker. Hand block printing not only celebrates slow craftsmanship, but also sustains rural livelihoods and preserves a rich cultural legacy rooted in storytelling, symbolism, and artistry.

As sunlight may cause natural dyes to fade, we advise drying in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
